My name is Shellie McGourty and my daughter started taking swimming lessons with one of your guards, Alex, on Tuesday at our neighborhood pool in Harvest Bend. I just wanted to compliment you on your guards. My daughter had gone swimming earlier in the day with her daycare and her face got sunburned and was burning at the start of her lesson. Alex did everything she could to make her feel better, was very patient and even stayed longer after we resolved Meagan's sunburn issues to make sure she got a full lesson. She is very courteous and caring and my daughter is already showing what I consider to be a lot of improvement just after 2 lessons!

I also want to compliment the guard on duty at our pool (a guy who's name I'm not sure of). He gave me a cup and some paper towels to put some cold water in to help my daughter's face when it was burning and was very concerned. You just don't really find that these days a lot. Most people are uninterested in helping you unless they absolutely have too, and even then are usually rude about it.
